Wu Jinglian once again become the focus of public opinion. At the beginning of the new year, a discussion about his understanding of the stock market was in full swing. Most strikingly, at the Economist and Media Symposium held in Beijing in China, the five economists influential in the Chinese economy, especially the securities industry, Li Yining, Xiao Zhuoriji, Dong Fuxi, Wu Xiaoqiu and Han Zhiguo They almost unanimously questioned Wu Jinglian’s remarks on the securities market. In spite of the consensus, it is very rare for five economists to sit together to publish such a “joint declaration.” Before the Spring Festival, Wu Jingli published in some media such as “China’s stock market is very irregular at the very beginning,” and “China’s stock market is like a casino.” The snake’s stock market, a market out of a sharp decline in prices. So Wu’s remarks were seen by some as transmitting some kind of policy signals and direction. This conjecture may be some far-fetched. In fact, there is a long history of major differences in the views of the economists on the stock market.
