The average daily intake of dietary selenium in Beijing residents was 66.4 μg, while that of kindergartens and nurseries was 34.7 μg. The current recommended dietary supplement level has been reached. In adult diets, selenium mainly comes from cereals, accounting for 63.6% of the total intake, followed by animal foods, accounting for 25.9% and other plant foods accounting for 10.5%. Children’s dietary selenium mainly comes from cereals and animal non-staple foods, Accounting for 48.9% and 44.3%. Whole blood average selenium content of 0.146ppm, selenium content 0.578ppm. There was a significant positive correlation between selenium content in selenium and selenium in daily diet and dietary selenium intake. The daily intake of mercury, arsenic and cadmium were 3.4, 52.7 and 42.7 μg respectively, which did not exceed the allowable range of the normal area, so as not to significantly increase the requirement of selenium. As the nutritional status of the normal selenium and daily intake of antagonistic elements is small, so the daily intake of selenium should be investigated for the normal intake of healthy people in our country, for the provision of supply reference.
