自1990年云南省大山包黑颈鹤自然保护区建立至今,情况一年好过一年。在这个海拔3400米的山乡,越冬的黑颈鹤数量从当初的200余只,增加到现在的1200余只。据统计,全世界现存的鹤共有15种,中国拥有8种,分别是:白鹤、白头鹤、白枕鹤、灰鹤、丹顶鹤、蓑羽鹤、赤颈鹤和黑颈鹤。其中被国际鹤类保护基金会列为濒危种的有白鹤、黑颈鹤、丹顶鹤、白枕鹤和白头鹤5种。黑颈鹤为中国独有鸟类,国家一级保护动物。现存的黑颈鹤总计为2000余只,不容置疑,云南省昭通市大山包乡已成为世界上最大的黑颈鹤聚居地。
Since the establishment of Dashanbao Black-necked Crane Nature Reserve in Yunnan Province in 1990, the situation has been going on for more than a year. In this mountainous area 3400 meters above sea level, the number of overwintering black-necked cranes increased from over 200 to over 1,200 now. According to statistics, there are 15 existing cranes in the world and 8 species in China, namely: white cranes, white-headed cranes, white-naped cranes, gray cranes, red-crowned cranes, red-crowned cranes, red-necked cranes and black-necked cranes. Among them, there are 5 species of crane, black-necked crane, red-crowned crane, white-naped crane and white-headed crane listed as endangered by the International Crane Foundation. Black-necked cranes for China’s unique birds, animal protection at the national level. The existing black-necked cranes total more than 2000, no doubt, Zhaotong City, Yunnan Province, the mountain package Township has become the world’s largest black-necked cranes.
