东乡族是我国甘肃地区颇具特色的一个少数民族,其历史、民俗十分悠久,融合发展了多方文化。东乡族主要分布在甘肃临夏回族自治州东乡族自治县境内,少数散居在甘肃兰州市和广河、和政、会宁、玉门等县市,新疆伊犁哈萨克自治州、宁夏回族自治区也有少量分布。根据2010年第六次全国人口普查统计,东乡族人口数为51.5万,主要从事农业,善种瓜果。
Dongxiang is a minority nationality in Gansu, China. It has a long history and a long history of folk customs, and has developed into a multi-cultural system. The Dongxiang people are mainly distributed in the Dongxiang Autonomous County of Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture in Gansu. The minority are scattered in Lanzhou, Gansu, Guanghe, Hezheng, Huining, Yumen and other counties and cities. There are also a few distributions in Xinjiang Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture and Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. According to the statistics of the Sixth National Census in 2010, the population of Dongxiang is 515,000, mainly engaged in agriculture and good fruits.
