Primary duodenal cancer (PDC) is very rare, accounting for 0.04% to 0.5% of the entire digestive tract tumor. Early diagnosis is difficult and mortality is high. Since the early symptoms of PDC are nonspecific, similar to pancreatic cancer and biliary tumors, they are often misdiagnosed.
