大千世界,万事万物,无不处于变化和运动之中.新闻是事实的报道,而事实作为某些事物的稳定态出现,总是相对的、暂时的、瞬息的,而且即便是这种“稳定态”,实际上也在不停地运动和变化。新闻所报道的,实际上是事物的某种变动,是变动的事实。事实作为事物稳定态出现及其所具有的变动不居、瞬息万变的特性,便是事实的瞬息性。由于新闻都是变动中的事实的报道,而变动又是绝对的、永无止境的,所以从总体上看,新闻总是常出常新,事实天天新,新闻日日有,新闻成为不衰的常青之树。世界千变万化,人类生生息息,新闻永无穷尽的时候。
