美籍华裔物理学家李政道1926年11月25日出生于中国上海。1943年毕业于江西联合中学。同年就读于浙江大学物理系。次年转入国立西南联大,在这里,李政道遇到了一生中获益最多的老师——吴大猷。1946年受吴大猷推荐赴美留学,就读于芝加哥大学物理系,虽然大学未毕业,还是进了芝加哥大学物理研究院,开始同杨振宁合作。1950年6月获芝加哥大学哲学博士学位,赴加拿
American Chinese physicist Li Zhengdao was born on November 25, 1926 in Shanghai, China. 1943 graduated from Jiangxi United High School. In the same year attended Zhejiang University Department of Physics. The following year transferred to the National Southwest United University, where Li Zhengdao met the most profitable teacher in his life - Wu Dayou. In 1946 by Wu Dajie recommended to the United States to study, studying at the University of Chicago Department of Physics, although the university did not graduate, or entered the Institute of Physics, University of Chicago, began to cooperate with Yang Zhenning. 1950 June PhD degree from the University of Chicago, went to Canada
