The 12th China International Symposium on Accounting, hosted by China Council for Accounting Review and hosted by Harbin Institute of Technology (Weihai) School of Economics and Management, was held on December 21-22, 2013 in Weihai, Shandong. The conference attracted nearly 300 experts and scholars from Mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan and the United States. The meeting was chaired by Professor Han Dongping, Dean of School of Economics and Management of Harbin Institute of Technology (Weihai), and Jiang Bo, party secretary of Harbin Institute of Technology (Weihai), delivered the opening speech.
