目前已逐渐认识到由舒张功能障碍为主导致的充血性心力衰竭(CHF),或称舒张性心力衰竭相当普遍并且可导致很高的发病率和死亡率。最近的临床研究提供了充分的证据可以制定明确的舒张性心力衰竭的诊断标准。实验室研究提供的资料使得人们对舒张性心力衰竭的发病机制有了进一步认识。这些临床的和实验室的研究结果正被用于设计目的明确的临床研究以探讨舒张性心力衰竭的有效治疗。
It has come to be recognized that congestive heart failure (CHF), or diastolic heart failure, which is predominantly caused by diastolic dysfunction, is quite common and can lead to high morbidity and mortality. Recent clinical studies have provided sufficient evidence to establish a clear diagnostic criteria for diastolic heart failure. The information provided by laboratory studies has led to a further understanding of the pathogenesis of diastolic heart failure. These clinical and laboratory findings are being used to design clear-cut clinical studies to explore the effective treatment of diastolic heart failure.
