鄂玉笋 1号 (原代号“玉笋 0 1”)是湖北省农科院农业现代化研究所 1 992年育成的玉米笋专用品种 ,组合为B880 1×P881 0 ,1 996年由湖北省品种审定委员会认定并定名。该品种具有植株矮、根系发达、抗倒伏、耐密植等优点 ,单株平均产笋 4 5个以上 ,出笋迅速 (5天内出齐 )、笋形适中 ,笋长 8 9cm ,笋粗 1 2cm ,长∶粗 =7 3∶1 ,笋尖发育正常 ,笋路排列整齐。在湖北省及华中地区适合春、夏、秋播。栽培技术上要搞好计划种植、合理密植、增施专用肥、彻底去雄、及时采收加工上市等关键环节
