近年来,遂溪县档案工作在省、市档案局的大力支持和指导下,在县委、县政府的正确领导下,以科学发展观统揽全局,围绕中心,服务大局,多元化拓展档案资源,科学构建适应时代要求的档案资源体系,不断提高档案管理水平,取得了很好的成效。2010年11月,县档案馆以91.6分的总成绩通过考评,晋升为省一级档案馆。2013年4月,又以86.6分的总分顺利通过市、县级国家综合档案馆测评,成为全省欠发达地区首家县级国家二级档案馆。
