人与自然的联系在小说中作为20世纪初英帝国工业化、城市化背景下人与社会关系的对立面,是作者所倡导的理想关系。英国20世纪著名作家福斯特把伦敦的城市生活当成了回归自然的参照。以伦敦为代表的现代化都市日新月异,以不可思议的速度扩张。福斯特小说中的人与人、人与自然以及自然物之间的关系是作者向往的生态和谐的理想关系。小说的主要人物自始至终都在寻找一处安定的居所,以期获得内心的平静,实现人与人、人与自然的连接。文中简要分析了其小说中的生态文明思想,及其为我们构建的生态文明世界,以期引起人们对工业文明对人类社会影响的反思。
The Relationship between Man and Nature In the novel, as the opposite of the relationship between man and society in the industrialization and urbanization of the British Empire in the early 20th century, it is the ideal relationship advocated by the author. Foster, a famous British writer in the 20th century, regarded urban life in London as a reference to return to nature. The modernized city represented by London changes with each passing day with an incredible speed. The relationship between man and man, man and nature and natural objects in Forster’s novels is the ideal relationship that the author aspires to ecological harmony. The main characters of the novel are looking for a settled place from beginning to end in order to gain inner peace and achieve the connection between people, man and nature. The article briefly analyzes the ecological civilization thought in his novels and the ecological civilization world that he built for us in order to arouse the reflection of the influence of industrial civilization on human society.
