现代信息技术给英语教学提供了无限的便利,同时也对传统教学中的理念、形式及内容都提出了前所未有的挑战,教师的角色在这一条件下也发生了很大变化。本文探讨了现代信息技术条件下研究生英语教学中教师角色的多重性和复杂性,归纳出了教师的四重角色,即宏观教学任务的规划者与设计者、学生学习上的促进者与激励者、集体合作学习的支持者与协调者及学生学习过程中的对话者与评估者。
Modern information technology has provided unlimited convenience to English teaching. At the same time, it has also posed unprecedented challenges to the concept, form and content of traditional teaching. Teachers’ roles have also undergone great changes in this context. This article explores the multiplicity and complexity of teachers ’role in postgraduates English teaching under the condition of modern information technology and concludes the four roles of teachers, namely planners and designers of macro-teaching tasks, facilitators and motivators of students’ learning , Supporters and coordinators of collective cooperative learning, and interlocutors and evaluators in the learning process of students.
