Facebook said on its official blog that the company will cancel its so-called “Sponsored Stories” (sponsored) advertising form on April 9. Often, these ads contain user profiles that interact with businesses that advertise on the Facebook website. Facebook is also facing allegations from privacy regulators and forcing it to pay $ 20 million last summer for a settlement with regulators.
