Television viewers on European satellite programs like to use a single LNB (low noise block) down-converter made in Taiwan. Taiwan’s microelectronics technology company (MTI) and Zinwell supply this key component, which is installed in the center of a butterfly antenna and receives two of Europe’s most popular satellites: the Eutelsat Hotbird at 13 degrees east and Astra at 19.2 degrees east Satellite transponder transmitted programs.
