为了保障人身的安全与健康及消除国际间机械产品的技术贸易壁垒,各工业发达国家、地区和国际标准化组织(ISO)近年来都把机械安全标准化工作放在十分重要的位置.如欧洲标准化委员会(CEN)自1989年以来先后建立了30多个有关机械安全的标准化技术委员会.提出了各类机械安全标准的制定项目600多个(其中基础性和通用性标准有150多个).为了统一各国的机械安全标准(尤其是机械安全基础标准和通用标准)、促进机械产品的国际贸易,国际标准化组织于1991年成立了“机械安全技术委员会”——ISO/TC 199.
In order to ensure personal safety and health and to eliminate technical barriers to international trade of mechanical products, industrialized countries, regions and the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) have put machinery safety standardization in a very important position in recent years, such as the European Committee for Standardization (CEN) has established more than 30 standardization technical committees on mechanical safety since 1989. It has proposed more than 600 projects (including more than 150 basic and general standards) for various types of mechanical safety standards. National mechanical safety standards (especially the basic safety standards of machinery and general standards) promote the international trade of mechanical products. In 1991, the International Organization for Standardization established the “Technical Committee of Machinery Safety” --ISO / TC 199.
