It is not an eye-opening space. Compared with the emperor’s great book The History of the Constitution of the People’s Republic of China and the clear insight into the Basic Law, Xu’s human rights thinking seems bleak at first glance. Most people may think that their theory of human rights and fundamental rights is nothing but an old saying that they are quite satisfactory and have no merits. This is a misunderstanding, or even a misreading by the academic community as a whole. To our knowledge, the inherent mechanism of nourishing the human rights concepts of several generations of Chinese scholars has been overshadowed by the mainstream liberal ideology in recent years, so that it has a long history and profound foundation in the history of thought and thought free
