用热熔拉制法,直接将商用塑料光纤(POF)制成了微/纳米光纤(MNF)和光纤耦合器。对宏弯曲结构的塑料MNF的折射率传感特性进行了研究和分析。结果显示,宏弯曲的塑料MNF对于较低折射率液体的折射率变化更为敏感;宏弯曲曲率半径较大的塑料MNF具有更高的折射率传感灵敏度,并且在一定的宏弯曲曲率状态下,越细的塑料MNF其折射率传感的灵敏度越高。在光纤直径为25μm、折射率范围为1.332~1.391和输入光源波长为635nm的条件下,折射率测量的最高分辨率为7.96×10-5。由这种宏弯曲结构塑料MNF构成的折射率计可以在生物和化学等传感领域中得到应用。
With the hot-melt drawing method, the commercial plastic optical fiber (POF) is directly made into the micro / nano optical fiber (MNF) and the optical fiber coupler. The refractive index sensing characteristics of plastic MNF with macro-bending structure were studied and analyzed. The results show that the macro-curved plastic MNF is more sensitive to the refractive index change of the lower refractive index liquid. The plastic MNF with larger macro-curvature radius has higher refractive index sensing sensitivity, and under some macro- , The finer the plastic MNF the higher the sensitivity of its refractive index sensing. The highest resolution of the refractive index measurement was 7.96 × 10 -5 at a fiber diameter of 25 μm, a refractive index in the range of 1.332 to 1.391 and an input light source wavelength of 635 nm. A refractive index meter made of such macro-bent plastic MNF can be applied in the fields of biology and chemistry.
