茅于轼:农民需要职业教育

在农村日益城镇化的今天,不管是对在原地享受城市居民待遇的农民,还是闯入城市自谋生路的打工一族,教育不仅提供谋生的必要知识和手段,也改变了他们内在精神气质和生存方式。然而,目前中国教育发展太多地忽视了职业教育,导致在城镇化过程中,本应是最强大的知识力量对于改变新兴的城市“农民”而言,显得相对疲软与沉默。2003年,年过七旬的天则经济研究所研究员茅于轼老人与经济学家汤敏合作,在北京创办了富平职业学校,专门针对进城的农民女青年提供家政服务培训。
