吴考槃教授(1903——),江苏海门人。从事中医临床、教学、科研七十余年,精通中医内、外、妇、儿各科,尤其对中医药经典著作研究造诣精深,学识渊博,著述宏丰,被誉为中医界“活字典”。1 苦读歧黄悬壶济世吴考槃教授从小酷爱读书,聪明颖悟,从1910——1917年,在8年的私塾里读完了《十三经》、《古文观止》等古典名著;又晨昏自学,旁及诸子;并浏览诸家杂说以广视野,由此打下了坚实的古汉语基础。
