大型设备(如汽车、船舶等)在使用过程中,会发生机械磨损、粘附磨损和腐蚀磨损。其磨损规律如图一所示。在正常工作时间 OA 内,磨损量随工作时间的延长而缓慢地增加;当工作时间超过 OA 以后,磨损量由 OM 迅速上升到极限磨损量 OB。此时设备将丧失工作能力并迅速损坏,需进行大修理作业才能恢复其技术性能。OA’称为大修理间隔时间,又称为一次大修延长的使用时间。
