巴东县位于长江上游,地处素有“入川咽喉”之称的三峡地带,是个“老、少、边、穷”的大山区。在改革中,我馆以图书资料工作跟踪经济建设为中心,从“沉、准、快”入手,先后为上千个农户送去了致富的“金钥匙”,给二十多家濒临倒闭的企业排忧解难。仅1987年至1988年,据信息反馈表明,我馆为全县乡镇企业和农户创间接经济效益达到128.5万元。跟踪服务一要“沉”。所谓“沉”,即深入基层,详细调查,了解山区经济建设的需要。我们巴东县地势辽阔,边远乡村距县城远的达五百多里。针对这一情况,我馆派出专人,深入农村山寨、厂矿企业,调查研究;
