在杭州西子湖畔,伫立着一座家喻户晓的佛塔,名为雷峰塔。相传,痴情的白蛇因追求真爱被法海镇压塔下,唯有西湖水干雷峰塔倒,白娘子方能得以解救。1924年9月25日下午,伫立千年的雷峰塔轰然倒塌,杭州百姓雀跃欢呼,奔走相告。白娘子是否重获自由无人知晓,直到76年后一场考古挖掘的展开,才真正揭开千年雷峰塔的传奇身世。地面清理两个月后,关键证据终于出现:残缺不全的石碑《华严经跋》,用短短162字细述了建造雷峰塔重要信息。原来,雷峰塔身世与《白蛇传》并无关系。其真正建造者是千余年前的吴越国王钱俶。
West Lake in Hangzhou, stands a well-known pagoda, called Pagoda. According to legend, the infatuated White Snake Puhai tower because of the pursuit of true love, only the West Lake water Leifeng tower down, White Snake can be rescued. On the afternoon of September 25, 1924, the thunder tower standing for thousands of years collapsed, and the people in Hangzhou cheered and ran away. It is unknown to anyone whether the White Snake is regained its freedom or not. It is only after the excavation of an archaeological dig 76 years later that the true legacy of the Thousand-year Pagoda was truly uncovered. Two months after the ground clearance, the key evidence finally appeared: incomplete stone “Sutra”, with a short 162 words detailing the construction of important information Leifeng Pagoda. It turned out, Leifeng tower life experience and “White Snake” does not matter. Its real builders are more than a thousand years ago, the king of Qian Yue Wu.
