本文讨论中国的“仿木构(模仿木材的构造模式)”现象——倘若营造技术是中国建筑文化的决定性因素与非物质文化遗产的展现,仿木构是否是该营造技术的真实映鉴?从实践与建构的角度,本文分析了原初的木作原型与似木(而非木)的同义转译之间的关系,并在一种媒介向另一种媒介的转译过程中,探寻对原初承重框架体系、生产组装与模数制法则所做的变更。虽然似木仿作发展出了自身的轨迹,并刺激了榫卯的创新与斗棋的简化,本文仍旧主张对运用了标准化预制构件(“即插即用”)的模数制设计——一种深植于传统木作工艺之中的观念——给予更多的偏重。
