鄂尔多斯地块有其特殊之处。据统计,有记载以来8级以上大震在此地块边缘地区共发生了5次,足见其活动的强烈。另外还有55次6级以上地震也分布在边界处。从实际意义讲,地块周边的一些地堑区是西北、华北人口稠密,工农业集中的地点,故研究这些地区的地震活动,就更为必要。本文在文的基础上对鄂尔多斯块体和其周围的地震活动性作进一步的讨论。
Ordos block has its special features. According to statistics, there have been 5 major earthquakes of magnitude 8 above occurred on the fringe of this plot since the record, which shows that their activities are intense. There are also 55 more than 6 earthquakes are also distributed at the border. In practice, some of the graben areas around the block are northwestern and northern China with densely populated areas and concentrated agriculture and industry. Therefore, it is even more necessary to study the seismic activities in these areas. Based on the text, this paper further discusses the seismic activity of the Ordos block and its surroundings.
