人文科学作为关于人的价值及其精神表现的学科是正确反映了人文现象的本质和规律的知识体系,它具有科学的一般属性。肯定和维护人文科学的科学地位和科学称号,符合人们的认识习惯和现代科学发展的一体化趋势,也便于对科学系统的统一管理。但由于人文客体具有不同于自然客体和社会客体的诸多特点,使得人文科学包含了若干不同于自然科学和社会科学的特性与品格,因而也具有了自身相对独立的和不可取代的科学地位。
The humanities, as a discipline of human values and its spiritual manifestations, is a system of knowledge that correctly reflects the nature and laws of human phenomena and possesses the general properties of science. Affirming and safeguarding the scientific status and scientific title of the humanities science accords with the trend of people’s cognition and the trend of integration of modern science and the unified management of the scientific system. However, because humanistic objects have many characteristics different from natural objects and social objects, the humanities science contains a number of characteristics and characters different from the natural sciences and social sciences, and thus has its own relatively independent and irreplaceable scientific status.
