In the present paper, the therapeutic effect of acupuncture of “Shesanzhen” (three acupoints of the tongue)combined with acupoint injection and oral administration of Chinese patent drug [“Zhen Ren Yizhi Bao”(真人益智宝)] in the treatment of 284 cases of infantile aphasis was observed. After one course of treatment (4 months), 93 cases (32.75%) were cured, 76 (26.76%) experienced marked improvement, 102 (35.92%) had improvement, with an effective rate of 95.43%.
