高校图书馆是文化信息资源存储和共享的知识宝库,是高校各项教学科研工作的坚强后盾,特别是随着网络时代的到来,高校图书馆对教学科研活动的信息资源服务作用更加凸显。高校具有人才培养、科学研究、服务社会、文化传承和创新四大功能。高校图书馆既要尊重教育规律实现高校使命,又要适应互联网、信息化时代需求,强化服务意识,丰富馆藏资源,完善服务途径,提升馆员素质,发挥应有作用,为教学科研服务,为建设精神高地服务。
