Ethylene oxide-ethylene terephthalate with different soft segment lengths and different hard segment contents was synthesized. The thermotropic deformation recovery of their tensile splines was tested separately. S-shaped thermomechanical deformation curves were characterized by maximum deformation recovery (Rf), deformation recovery temperature (Tr) and deformation recovery rate (Vr).
