第八届西太平洋声学大会于2003年4月7～9日在澳大利亚墨尔本召开,19个国家和地区的声学家参加了这次大会。此次会议覆盖了大部分与声学有关的学科,包括生物声学、语音、建筑声学、噪声与振动、电子设备、水声学、音乐、主动噪声控制、环境声学测量、换能器、心理声学、信号处理、超声等。大会共发表文章203篇,其中大会邀请报告论文(Plenary Lectures)3篇,题目分别为“Medical applications of acous-tics”、“Does active noise control have a future?”、“From idea to acoustics and back again: the creation and analysis ofinformation in music”。分组特邀报告论文(Distinguished Lectures)6篇,其中中国科学院声学研究所张仁和院士在水
The 8th Western Pacific Acoustic Conference was held in Melbourne, Australia from April 7 to April 2003, and acoustics from 19 countries and regions attended the conference. The conference covers most of the acoustical subjects including bioacoustics, speech, architectural acoustics, noise and vibration, electronics, aquatic acoustics, music, active noise control, ambient acoustic measurements, transducers, psychoacoustics, signals Treatment, ultrasound and so on. A total of 203 articles were published, including 3 Plenary Lectures invited by the conference entitled “Medical applications of acous-tics”, “Does active noise control have a future?”, “From idea to acoustics and back again: the creation and analysis of information in music ”.
