大港头镇,位于丽水市西南部,距市区23千米,瓯江干流龙泉溪与主要支溪松荫溪汇合于此,系丽水市区与云和、景宁、龙泉、庆元、松阳、遂昌、龙游、衢州和福建、江西等地联系的交通咽喉,亦称丽水市区的西大门。现以“古堰画乡”4A级旅游风景区而吸引着全国各地的游客。大港头文化资源丰富,拥有深厚的瓯江文化,地域属性显著,具有极高的文化价值,而孕育其中的瓯江号子则反映了瓯江边劳动人民的才智,保护得当、利用得好,则可永久传世;反之,它将随着历史的演进,退出历史舞台。作为基层文化工作者,我对瓯江号子的挖掘研究具有紧迫感和使命感。
