新课标要求,基础教育阶段英语课程的总体目标是培养学生的综合语言运用能力。然而,在农村地区中小学的英语教学中,仍然摆脱不了传统应试教学模式。教师往往重视语言的外在形式和语法结构,忽视了语言的使用环境与应用功能,不能熟练掌握新课标要求的教育理念与方法,使得学生英语学习中听、说、读、写、译各方面的发展参差不齐,不能够有效地发挥学生学习的自主性与创造性,培养其综合能力,影响长远发展。本文以新乡市农村地区为样本进行调查研究,做出其现状分析,针对问题提出建议。

Teachers often attach importance to the external form and grammatical structure of language, ignoring the use of language and the application of the function, can not master the new curriculum requirements of the educational philosophy and methods, making students learn English listening, speaking, reading, writing, translation The development in the area is uneven. It is impossible to effectively exert the autonomy and creativity of students’ learning, cultivate their comprehensive ability and affect the long-term development. In this paper, rural areas in Xinxiang City as a sample survey, make its status quo analysis, make recommendations for the problem.
