靖江县地处长江下游,三面环江,防洪战线长,历史上这里的人民吃够了水苦。因此,加固江堤,防洪保安,本是沿江人民的迫切愿望。然而年复一年,江堤却始终不能修复。原因很多,其中最主要的是因为这里田少人多,舍不得挖田。30多年来,这个县虽也遭受过多次洪水灾害,却一直下不了决心,每年加修江堤,只是小修小补,不解决问题。
Jingjiang County is located in the lower reaches of the Yangtze River, surrounded by the river on three sides, flood control line length, history, people eat enough water bitter. Therefore, reinforcing the river embankment and flood control and security are originally the urgent wishes of the people along the river. However, year after year, the embankment has always been unable to repair. There are many reasons for this, most notably because there are so many people here and there, they are reluctant to dig fields. Over the past 30 years, although this county has also suffered numerous flood disasters, it has been unable to make any determination and every year it has to rehabilitate its embankments. It only makes minor repairs and refrains from solving the problems.
