This article describes the results of adult female and male NIH mice receiving successive exposure to ~ (60) Co gamma radiation to induce dominant and lethal mutations in oocytes and sperm cells. The two mice were placed in a 4.3 g radium-equivalent cobalt source chamber for 10 consecutive days. The cumulative doses received by female rats were 0.396, 0.506, 0.836, 1.232 and 2.024 Gy, respectively, and the number of pre-implantation loss was 1.2220 and 0.8095 , 1.4783,2.2308,3.7143. The cumulative doses of male rats were 0.462,0.594,0.968,1.628,2.552Gy, the number of pre-implantation loss was 0.0345,0.0690,1.1379,2.1538,2.2308. The experimental results show that there is a linear relationship between the number of pre-implantation losses of oocytes and sperm cells and the dose, and the ratio of the two slopes is 1.66. The results showed that under the same irradiation conditions, the rate of induced oocyte mutation was 1.66 times more sensitive than sperm cells.
