一、张北地震概况 1998年1月8日,河北省张家口市的张北、尚义县境内发生里氏6.2级地震,共有788所中小学校受灾,其中造成校舍倒塌或严重危房6465间、建筑面积12.76万平方米;造成危房7041间、建筑面积13.76万平方米。经初步测算,校舍的恢复重建共需资金1.3亿余元。另外,仪器设备、文体器材、图书、课桌凳等损失达4012万元。 二、学校建筑的震害及原因 1.震区原有学校的传统建筑型式 (1)土木结构房屋 这种型式就是墙体由草泥坯砌成,屋盖为木结构,瓦屋面,在学校建筑中占有比例较少。 (2)内石外砖房屋
