《许宾门日记》,稿本,一册,许元愷撰,起道光二十二年正月,迄二十四年十月,白口十行,行二十字,行书,常熟图书馆藏。许宾门,名元愷,常熟人,曾客扬州训蒙。《日记》较凌杂,录常昭科名录。载鸦片战争史事,可补史籍之不足。道光二十二年,正值美军侵犯长江下游,元愷籍隶虞山,客居扬州,故于吴淞抗战、瓜洲盐民都有记载。除录《广东纪事诗》和《陈忠愍公殉节始末》外,下述日记,可供参考:
