定量分析是研究客观事物的数量存在,从数量分析入手,分析客观事物发展中的数量界限和数、质关系,从而揭示客观事物发展规律的一种分析和解决问题的方法。一个地区或一个部门的领导者,较好地掌握和运用定量分析这一基本功,有以下重要作用:有利于领导者实施科学决策。科学决策要求领导者做到主观和客观相统一,全局和局部相结合,上情和下情相联系。在“统一”、“结合”和“联系”的过程中,有效的定量分析,是决策的科学依据。在领导者面临的决策问题日益复杂、风险决策和不确定型决策日益增多的今天采取定量分析方法,对于领导者减少决策失误、提高决策效率有积极的意义。
