高校科技期刊与我国科技进步和高等教育事业的发展息息相关:在西学东渐的过程中,介绍并引进了西方的科技文明;在新文化运动至解放前,为中国科技化运动及各学科的体制化建设做出了贡献;新中国成立后,见证了我国科技及高等教育事业的发展;随着信息时代的到来,高校科技期刊存在的问题暴露得越来越明显,必须要对高校科技期刊进行改革,建立政府、高校、期刊主体三方联动的改革措施,适应新形势的要求。
