目的:分析羟基磷灰石(hydroxyapatite,HA)涂层种植体在人体内经过长时间服役后表面是否有涂层消减的现象。方法:收集1颗服役23年后因种植体周围炎拔除的HA涂层种植体,进行肉眼观察;并在种植体表面无牙结石部位选择位点进行表面分析,即利用扫描电子显微镜(scanning electron microscopy,SEM)观察种植体表面微形貌与X射线能谱仪(energy dispersive spectrometer,EDS)分析表面涂层成份。结果:肉眼观可见种植体表面未见涂层样结构,SEM显示为较均一的粗糙表面,偶见少量微凸起,EDS检测到凸起位点检出钙和磷元素:Ca(14.27%)和P(9.5%),其余区域仅检出微量Ca和P(1.17%和0.82%)或无Ca和P。结论:HA涂层种植体在罹患种植体周围炎的情况下,表面涂层存在消减现象。
OBJECTIVE: To analyze whether the surface of hydroxyapatite (HA) -coated dental implants has been abated after prolonged service in human body. Methods: One HA-coated implant that was removed by peri-implantitis was collected after 23 years of service. The surface of the implant was analyzed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) microscopy, SEM) to observe the micro-topography of the implant surface and analyze the surface coating composition with an energy dispersive spectrometer (EDS). Results: There was no coating-like structure on the surface of the implants. SEM showed a rather uniform rough surface with occasional slight projections. Calcium and phosphorus elements detected by EDS were detected by EDS: Ca (14.27%), And P (9.5%), while the rest detected only trace amounts of Ca and P (1.17% and 0.82%) or no Ca and P, respectively. CONCLUSIONS: There is a reduction in the surface coating of HA-coated implants in the presence of peri-implantitis.
