There are a lot of reports on the treatment of IUD rupture caused by the withdrawal of the ring. This article is intended to investigate the causes of ring rupture, the relationship between the ring breakage and the ring incarceration, and to further explore the method of the insertion ring. 1 Materials and Methods 1.1 Study Subjects and Information: February 1982 to February 1998 in our hospital a total of 110 cases of intrauterine metal IUD were taken.
