北斗七星“环绕着”月亮?

“我”在一处白色的岩石上,画了一面神鼓和环绕着它的七只驯鹿仔。“我把神鼓当做了月亮,而那七只鹿仔就是环绕着它的北斗七星。”(《额尔古纳河右岸》第171页,人民文学版2010年10月第1版)这就犯了比喻失当的错误,因为喻体不合事理,是站不住脚的。北斗七星并不“环绕”着月亮。

The Big Dipper is not “Surround ” with the moon.
