The midline θ rhythm (MTR) is mostly a rare θ rhythm at the top of the center when awake and few reports of this electroencephalographic phenomenon have been reported since Ciganek’s 1961 report. This MTR is generally considered to be nonspecific. This article appears in the awake to mild sleepiness, the frequency of 4 ~ 7Hz, the voltage is greater than 50 micro-volts for more than 3 seconds, the highest voltage in the Cz and / or Pz region MTR, by studying its EEG characteristics, age Distribution and clinical diagnosis. The clinical importance of this MTR was re-evaluated, and the relationship between MTR and MTR, continuous slow activity, adult subclinical EEG discharge (SREDA) and other θ events were studied.
