郸城县从1986年开始藕田养鱼,1990年被省地水产部门作为试验推广项目。1994年探索藕田养殖革胡子鲇试验,1995年试验面积1.1公顷,经过4个月饲养,每公顷产鱼1.32万公斤,莲藕1.65万公斤,产值达5.4万元,纯收入4.3万元。取得了较好的经济效益,养殖技术要点是:1 藕田建造:选择排灌方便、保水力强的田地,面积要求0.067公顷。将选好的田块下挖10厘米,整平后每公顷施猪粪800公斤,然后注水,用机械搅和泥土,不渗漏水为止。10天后开挖鱼沟鱼坑,鱼沟宽深各1米,呈“日”字型,鱼坑每公顷应挖18平方米,深1.5米与鱼沟连通,把所挖的泥土加高田埂四周至0.9米,用1米的拦网沿田埂四周设置,作为防逃墙,排注水口用钢窗拦好。
