This article discusses the performance of AGC / ASC amplifiers in series, some of the system’s features, and reliability. The article also analyzes the potential limitations of such amplifiers in series. Analysis shows that the AGC / ASC amplifier in series increased transitional and transfer modulation, and in some conditions has a great amplitude transition characteristics. The paper proposes ways to reduce the above effects. Using an amplifier with accurate thermal compensation reduces the number of AGC / ASC amplifiers. This is a simple method, but unusually effective.
