词汇是构筑语言的材料。词汇量的大小直接影响英语听、说、读、写等能力的发展,并为说和写奠定基础。学生不掌握一定的词汇量,就无法顺利进行听、说、读、写、译,就无法进行英语交流。然而,教师和学生对词汇在语言学习中所起的作用没有足够的认识,忽视了词汇教学应该贯穿整个英语教学的始终。学生常常苦于记单词效率低,遗忘速度快,死记硬背、方法单一,缺乏复习、效率低下,不少学生更是因此而失去学习英语的决心和信心。因此词汇
Vocabulary is the language of the material. The size of the vocabulary directly affects the development of English listening, speaking, reading and writing ability, and lay the foundation for speaking and writing. Students do not have a certain amount of vocabulary, they can not smooth listening, speaking, reading, writing, translation, they can not communicate in English. However, teachers and students do not have enough understanding of the role of vocabulary in language learning, neglecting that vocabulary teaching should run through the entire English teaching.
