8月3日欧泽高赴北京出席全国打击走私活动工作会议和全国金融工作会议。8月7日省政府召开第11次常务会议。会议由肖秧主持,马麟、徐世群、张中伟、甘宇平出席。会议讨论并原则同意:省体委关于七运会筹备情况的汇报;《四川省<中华人民共和国水土保持法>实施办法》;《四川省禁毒条例》;市(州)长、专员学习会有关事宜。8月18日甘宇平赴德阳出席全省公路建设工作会。8月24日刁金祥赴南充、逐宇等地调查研究。8月26日省政府召开第12次常务会议。会议由肖秧主持,蒲海清、徐世群、李蒙、欧泽高、甘宇平出席。会议听取了:关于全国“菜篮子工程”工作会议的汇报;关于全国物价局长座谈会精神和我省贯彻意见的汇报。讨论并原则通过了《四川省禁止企业不合理负担条例(草案)》。
