本山,原产于安溪县阳乡南岩山麓。质地优良,采制得法的成品,香味、泡水近似铁观音,唯“韵”味略逊。其佳者,甚易与铁观音混淆。安溪茶农称它为本山,意即出产于本地南岩山(铁观音发源地)。其形态特征、繁殖方法、栽培特点也与铁观音相似。甚至把它们引种至湖南长沙,经20多年栽培后,其春梢展叶期、萌展值、伸育与温度的关系、叶片解剖结构等,仍保持相似性。所以人们称本山为铁观音的近亲。
The mountain, native to Anxi County, Yang Nan Shan foothills. Therefore, people call the mountain Tieguanyin’s close relatives.
