抑制素是一种分子质量为32ku的异二聚体(AB)糖蛋白。属于转化因子β超家族,有旁分泌/自分泌生长因子的作用。研究表明,抑制素各亚单位在子宫内膜组织中均有表达,其表达随月经周期而改变,并且可能与雌二醇、皮质醇的代谢关联,对胚胎植入和子宫内膜蜕膜化起重要的自分泌/旁分泌信号作用。抑制素各亚单位在正常、增生和癌性内膜中的表达存在差异,在子宫内膜发病和致癌机制方面起重要作用。多次流产者子宫内膜基质细胞中激活素A(ACT-A)表达变化提示其活性改变导致不良的妊娠结局。子宫内膜癌细胞系(ISH)在干扰素刺激下,抑制素各亚单位的表达均增强,为子宫内膜癌治疗提供了选择。
