本文报道了珍珠菜引入上海驯化栽培后的生物学特性表现、离休快速繁殖和栽培技术。珍珠菜可以采用扦插繁殖或组织培养快速繁殖技术获得种苗,4月和9、10月份是扦插移栽的适宜季节;在土壤疏松、有机质含量丰富的条件下产量高、品质好,生产上主要防治菌核病、蛴螬、蚂蚁等病虫害,年产量可达1.8万kg/hm2。在珍珠菜的组织培养、引种驯化过程中出现了四种变异类型,其中叶片肥大、植株矮生的类型食用品质好,选择育种工作正在进行。
