苏州的造园艺术离不开众多的技术工人和能功巧匠。自一九八九年以来,我们在省市劳动部门的指导和关怀下,按照国家关于《工人考核条例》和《实行技师聘任制暂行规定》的文件精神,开展了工人技术培训和技师评聘工作,五年来,在全系统809名技术工人中,经培训、考核合格的中级工人70名(电工、花卉、盆景工),高级工28名(花卉、盆景、绿化、电气、假山、动物饲养、汽车驾驶和木、瓦工),并在上述高级技工中评聘技师15名占技术工人总数的1.85%。在对技术工种培训的同时,对非技术工种的工人也进行了岗位培训,培训合格上岗的有227名(售票、检票和商品经营工人),在工人技术培训中,我们的主要做法是:
